It wasn’t like she could easily leave her post all willy-nilly and be like any other normal customer around the marketplace. If she even tried such a stunt, not only would her pay be affected, but her stepmother would have quite a few words for her.
And she didn’t wanna hear it.
As the other teenager approached her booth, the pinkette made sure that the cloth decorating her booth was to cover her right leg completely. No need to have to explain her mechanical cyborg parts to some random person. After all, she already had the baker across the marketplace keep her child as far away from the freaky cyborg chick as much as possible.
“Uhh —— Thanks, I guess. But,” Amaranth eyes glanced about. She never simply took compliments like that without the slightest bit of embarrassment. Good thing she couldn’t blush.
“It’s just a slow day, I guess.”

The young wolf removed the hood from her head once seeing the reaction of the young pink woman. Her movements only looked she were trying to hide something. However, Cerise definitely didn’t want to ask any questions. Better to let her say something herself, right? Cerise then locked her own fingers together over the counter, following was a nervous cough. Grey eyes darted around the quiet area.
It was super quiet. But why? What could be keeping people away?
Maybe it was just her mind messing with her.
Yeah, not a surprise.
Cerise’s eyes locked onto the other. Kind of hesitant about saying anything else. There was no doubt the pink pigmented woman was uncomfortable around the young wolf. At least, that’s how Cerise felt. But the thought of the lady enjoying her company and possibly not wanting her to leave, only stopped her from departing and going their separate ways. She was the kind of girl who looked like she needed someone around. Hopefully it wasn’t bad judgement– or, well, of course being lonely isn’t exactly a good thing but, Cerise wanted to possibly fix that.
